AURORA – High school boys golf teams from across Colorado will compete in regional championships from Monday, Sept. 30 to Wednesday, Oct. 2, for a spot in the 2024 Colorado High School Activities Association Boys Golf State Championship. There will be four regions in each weight class, with the top two teams and top 13 individuals from each region advancing to the state championship.
This is the first year that Class 2A was established as a classification, and this is the first year that four classes will be established for men’s golf. All four Class 2A regionals will be held on Monday, Sept. 30 and will be contested in Aurora, Colorado City and Delta. Class 3A will hold regional tournaments in Cortez, Fort Morgan, Lakewood and Snowmass on Monday and Tuesday, while Class 4A will also play in Colorado Springs, Denver, Montrose and Windsor on Monday and Tuesday. Class 5A district tournaments will be held Monday and Wednesday in Arvada, Bloomfield, Centennial and Littleton.
