In recognition of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Cultural Heritage Month, Mayor Jane Castor and the City of Tampa will celebrate AAPI heritage and cultural diversity at the 2024 Tampa Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival.
A vibrant and colorful festival that showcases and celebrates all things Asian and Pacific Islander in the heart of downtown Tampa. Free and open to the public, the community is invited to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park (600 N Ashley Dr) from noon to 9 p.m. on May 11th for a great afternoon and evening of mouth-watering and amazing Asian cultural performances. You can soak it in. In addition to delicacies, authentic Asian products and fascinating information displays, there will also be beauty and singing contests. Countries and territories in Asia include South Korea, the Philippines, China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, India, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Bangladesh, and Malaysia, as well as Hawaii and the islands of the South Pacific.
