MARIPOSA, Calif. (KFSN) — A studio where creativity and artistic vision meet.
At the San Stereo warehouse in downtown Fresno is photographer Felice Diaz.
Her studio name is her own name, which translates from the Spanish word “Happy Day.”
Mini model Olivia is a testament to perfect moments captured every day.
“It’s very special to me that when we were little, my mom would take us to take pictures every month, so it’s great to be able to make that happen for other people,” Diaz said. Ta.
A Valley native, she loves sharing her craft with the community she grew up in.
From spooky sessions to serene fall sets, Felice finds something for everyone.
“I love when moms come to me and say, ‘I have an idea. I have this outfit. Can you make me something out of it?'” I love creativity and doing new things. I fully agree with that,” Diaz said.

“I found this on Facebook Marketplace, and it’s like a bright turquoise color, and I distressed it to give it an aged feel and to create a cabinet of curiosities,” Diaz said of the mini dresser. He said while showing one.
Life behind the lens began when Diaz’s first son was born.
“I bought what I thought at the time was a high-end camera, like a starter camera, at Costco…and I started taking pictures of my son,” Diaz said.
Ten years later, now a mother of two boys, she turned her hobby into a successful business while training with LA photographer Anna Brandt. She also earned her neonatal certification.
“Of course they certify that we’re safe, but it’s like when you’re dealing with a newborn baby, making sure they’re safe is the most important thing,” Diaz said. said/
Diaz also offers holiday shoots and milestone packages.
“That way I have access to my clients’ closets,” Diaz said. “We also make headbands and other cute accessories that babies can wear with their photos.”
What is the driving force behind her desire to create?
“It’s all about capturing the moment because you only see a little bit of it for a long time,” Diaz said.
