Kelly Brook has revealed that her ex-partner prevented her from attending a party hosted by disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, adding that she now believes he was protecting her.
The model and actress, 44, said she felt he was “possessive and controlling” at the time.
Appearing on ITV talk show Loose Women, Brooke told the panel: “There was this actor I dated many years ago and he was very protective of me, and that still applies today, so I’ve spoken to him (her husband Jeremy Parisi) a lot about it.”
“For example, I was invited to Sean Combs’ Puff Daddy party many years ago, and my boyfriend at the time said, ‘You shouldn’t go there.'”
“He was a very well-known actor who had been in the industry for a very long time, but I thought he was very possessive and controlling and didn’t want me to have fun.
“And I said, ‘Why can’t you go? Everybody’s going to be there, everybody’s going to the party.’ And he said, ‘You’re not going.'”

“Nothing more was said about it and I didn’t go. A few years later I found the invitation in a drawer in his office. He took me under his wing.”
Brooke went on to say that when she recalled the incident to Parisi, her husband told her, “Kel, he was looking out for you.”
She added: “We don’t know what happened at these parties because these allegations keep coming up.”

Before marrying Parisi, Brooke was in a relationship with Jason Statham for six years and also dated another Hollywood star, Billy Zane.
Combs, 54, is currently “on suicide watch” in prison while awaiting trial on sex trafficking and extortion charges, according to reports.
In a 14-page indictment, prosecutors allege that Combs coerced and drugged the women into participating in videotaped “highly organized sex acts” that the defendants called “freak-offs” that sometimes lasted for days and often involved male prostitutes.
Combs’ lawyer, Mark Anifilo, has denied the allegations of wrongdoing and called his client “an innocent man with nothing to hide.”
He said: “Mr. Combs is a fighter. He’s going to fight to the end.”
The rapper has been accused of rape and sexual abuse in at least nine civil lawsuits over the past year.
