The AAPI Employee Resource Group is dedicated to making the university the best place for Asians, Asian Americans, and Pacific Islanders to realize their career dreams while preserving their cultural identity.
The group provides support for the university’s AAPI employees to achieve their teaching, research, and service missions by strengthening diversity, fostering community, and improving student, faculty, and staff retention. The AAPI Employee Resource Group is designed to develop inclusive leaders who educate, engage, and support the University’s strategic initiatives. Next year we plan to offer social networking, professional development, and cultural events.
The AAPI Employee Resource Group is open to all faculty and staff who identify as Asian, Asian American, or Pacific Islander, and allies are also welcome. Universities Australia’s Employee Resource Groups are recognized as voluntary employee-led workplace groups.
