Cloudflare’s planned outage has affected access to websites around the world, including BleepingComputer, with the site working in some regions and not working in others.
Cloudflare says it’s currently undergoing planned maintenance in Synagpore and Nashville, but the status page doesn’t indicate any issues.
However, for many users around the world, when they try to access a website using Cloudflare, their web browser displays an error message indicating that there is a problem connecting to the server, as shown below. Masu.

Our platform, BleepingComputer, is one of the sites affected by this outage, and our users are experiencing intermittent access issues. However, monitoring tools show that the site is still receiving traffic, suggesting the outage is region-specific.
Additionally, from the publication of this article, you will find that although I will continue to be able to access our site from the United States, some of our other staff members will not be able to access it from other countries.
Downdetector also shows an increase in complaints about Cloudflare around 1:45 PM ET. This coincides with when I started having problems with BleepingComputer.
Similar reports were found on X, where customers state that their site cannot be accessed via IPv4, but is accessible via IPv6.
NodeJS.org has also reported the impact of the Cloudflare outage, saying that their “ability to access nodejs.org, including accessing websites and downloading Node.js,” has been affected.
BleepingComputer reached out to Cloudflare to learn more about the outage, but did not immediately receive a response.
This is a developing story.
