Billionaire business leaders and Silicon Valley elites have loudly or quietly expressed their support for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
And whichever candidate wins, they are likely to rely on the business sector to build their respective cabinets.
President Trump has already confirmed that Elon Musk will play a role in his administration. And while Harris herself has ties to Wall Street, it appears her two key agents may be out of contention.
Mark Cuban initially expressed interest in leading the SEC, but told ABC Sunday he was “not interested in being a Cabinet member.” Additionally, Harris’ brother-in-law, Uber executive Tony West, is currently on leave to help with the campaign, but plans to return to work after the election.
