American Banker’s score is based on four key factors: trust, respect, admiration, and positive emotions. These scores reflect strong leadership, good management, ethical practices, inclusivity and a sense of sustainability.
Data shows that the region’s reputation has improved significantly this year, with scores increasing by almost 10% from 2023.
One reason for this may be that the region actually has a dedicated reputation department, a team that works to identify reputation risks and strengthen company culture.
“We are thrilled to have Regions recognized on this list, but we are proud to honor our team, whose hard work and dedication make an incredible impact on our customers, clients, and community members every day. I’m proud.
Our employees are the foundation on which our reputation is built. ”
John Turner, President and CEO of Regions Bank
The Regions has a large presence in the community, with 42 chapters in the Birmingham area and 221 chapters across the state.
It has also gained national recognition by being named the “No. 1 Top Regional Bank” by JD Power earlier this year.
